Non-executive director of Wild Dog Resources Inc., a Canadian company – 2019 to date - gold/copper in PNG. 

Non-executive director of Rift Energy Metals Ltd , a Mauritian company – polymetallic mineral interests in Tanzania.

GoldOz Ltd (formerly New Energy Minerals Ltd) - non-executive chairman and director 2014 – September 2021 – alluvial diamonds, rubies, graphite and vanadium in Mozambique, and gold in North Queensland. 

Hill End Gold Ltd – non-executive director 2009–13; gold explorer and small producer. 

ActivEX Ltd – non-executive chairman 2006–13; gold and copper explorer in Queensland. 

International Base Metals Ltd – non-executive director 2002–08 - unlisted copper exploration company with projects in Namibia. 

Copper Range Ltd – non-executive chairman 2006–08 - copper exploration projects in South Australia.

  • Associated with the ASX floats of Oil Company of Australia NL and Australian Hydrocarbons NL (1979-80)

  • Member of the Morgan Grenfell financial advisory team for Woodside Petroleum on the North West Shelf Gas Project (1978-80)

  • Olympic Dam Copper/Gold/Uranium Project (1980-83)

  • Proposed purchase by WMC of Blair Athol coal interests (1982)

  • Members’ voluntary winding up of BH South Ltd (1982)

  • Establishment of the Uranium Enrichment Group of Australia Joint Venture (UEGA) between BHP, WMC, Peko-Wallsend and CSR (1982)

  • Duchess phosphate/fertiliser project (Queensland) (1980-83)

  • Legal supervision of all the corporate and project financing activities of WMC (1980-83)

  • Eurocurrency loan agreements and eurobond issue and other capital raisings for WMC, Hunter Resources and Delta Gold

  • Acquisition by Zimplats of BHP's platinum interests in Zimbabwe (1999)

  • Merger discussions between Acacia Resources and Delta Gold (1999)

  • Public company takeover by Delta of Ross Mining NL (2000) and the subsequent successful A$70 million political risks insurance claim for the Gold Ridge Mine in Solomon Islands (2001)

  • Major corporate financings by Delta Gold, gold loans and gold bond financings and related gold hedging arrangements (1989 – 2001)

  • Advice to minority shareholders in Zimplats Ltd (2002-6)

  • Primarily responsible for the legal work and chaired the due diligence committee connected with the ASX base metals float of Tri Origin Minerals Limited -$5.4M raised (2003-04)

  • Advice to Vietnam Resources Corporation Ltd (now Axiom Mining Ltd), a Hong Kong company, generally and in respect of a proposed IPO and listing (2001-04)

  • Takeover of unlisted Great Mines Ltd by Citigold Ltd (Charters Towers Gold Mines 2003)

  • Acting for major Canadian gold producer re proposed purchase of Gold Ridge gold project (2004)

  • Sale of oxide copper interests from International Base Metals Ltd to Avon Resources Ltd (renamed CopperCo Ltd) (2004)

  • Advice to Neptune Resources Pty Ltd re incorporation and IPO and London AIM listing (2005) of underwater gold and base metals interests offshore New Zealand

  • Major involvement in the seed capital raising and IPO and ASX listing of ElDore Mining Corporation Ltd with gold interests in the Philippines (April-October 2005)

  • Capital raisings and acquisitions for International Base Metals Ltd with copper exploration projects in Namibia (2002-2008)

  • Integral part of management team of Canadian listed group aiming to list significant coal and gold mining and exploration interests in southern Africa on London AIM later in 2006.

  • Advice to Compass Resources Ltd (2008) – base metal projects in Northern Territory.

  • Acting for various private groups in mineral exploration activities in Australia, southern Africa, USA, Canada and Brazil and proposed capital-raisings, listings. backdoor listings and re-listings.

  • Assistance to Chala Metals Ltd – 2018 - to date – magnetite and gold/copper projects in Peru.
